The inaugural EmpowerMe Talks workshop took place with great success on Saturday, 26th October 2024, at the Amphitheater Mikocheni. Held under the inspiring theme “Moral Minds, Empowered Lives,” the event focused on the importance of moral education, with a special emphasis on the topic of “tabia njema” (Good behavior).

On June 16th, Africa commemorates the Day of the African Child. This year, the Watoto Afrika Initiative, in collaboration with Builders of Future Africa, the Arusha Readers Club , and the leadership of Shalom Primary School, marked the occasion in Arusha city from June 14th to 16th.

On April 13, 2024, during the Good Deed Days Fair Event at Don Bosco Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam, the Watoto Afrika Initiative actively advocated for childhood protection and mental health awareness.
The team engaged with visitors and partners, sparking meaningful conversations and raising awareness about safeguarding the future of children. The event fostered a shared commitment to compassion and advocacy for children’s well-being.
School Tour
Uhuru Mchanganyiko Primary School

Watoto Afrika Initiative visited Uhuru Mchanganyiko Primary School for a special tour aimed at empowering children with special needs. During the visit, essential school supplies were distributed to support their education and promote inclusivity.
This meaningful initiative highlighted the importance of providing equal opportunities and brightened the academic journey of these amazing students. Together, we took a step towards building a more inclusive future.
